i think that all bike manufacturers will have random problems…i wouldn’t go avoiding a brand after seeing a couple people experiencing problems. i haven’t had any problems with my 04 r1 and never with my 00 r6. i am not a yamaha only guy, but thought those were the best bikes for me at the time. if you look on a 10r site or somewhere else, i’m sure you will see a thing here or there with random problems as well. it does suck to have a bike have a problem like that two months in though.
