mesin yamaha dual cylinder itu 500 cc pesaing honda CBR500R kah?

yamaha memajang mesin 3 cylincer crossplane ( walau pernah ane baca bukan crossplane murni ) pada yamaha MT 09

namun yang dual cylinder masih sangat belum jelas

keanehan dan keunikan tersendiri mesin dual cylinder tersebut pun sudah di buka buka oleh lek azyz

dulu ane lihat secara kasat mata di pesbuk, katanya sih digadang2 jadi mesin R25 aka yamaha 250 cc dual cylinder, tapi koq besar banget, mungkin kurang tepat, .. sampai akhirnya lek azyz pun bilang ini mesin kelas 500 an

kemudian baca lagi di motorbeam, langsung deh menjurus ke kelas 500 cc

The next engine that seems most interesting in the images is an undefined 2-cylinder engine. This engine could be developed for competing with the Honda CBR500R. Unfortunately, no information has been shared by Yamaha yet but twin exhaust outlets and overall size of the engine hints at it being for half-litre bikes. The Honda CBR500R is powered by a 473cc, parallel-twin engine that churns out 47 BHP of power and 43 Nm of torque. Similar figures could be expected by the new 2-cylinder engine from Yamaha.

inikah bakal calon motor yamaha  penantang  honda CBR500R yang pengecekan klepnya mahal 😀 kata lek iwb 😀

    sepertinya itu diatas 700cc

  6. Jika mesin motor ini benar-benar dirilis Yamaha,maka CBR series kelihatan semakin culun,katrok dan operpret.

  7. The 499 cc parallel twin DOHC engine was designed, according to Honda engineers, to last for 300,000 km (190,000 miles). One bike was tested by Moto Revue from 1993 to 1996. Dismantled at 50,000 km (31,000 miles), the engine was in perfect condition. At 100,000 km (62,000 miles) only the distribution chain and the pistons were replaced, although, in the tester’s opinion, it could have run with the original parts for longer with no problems.
