Bajaj Auto’s flagship motorcycle, the Pulsar 200 NS will hit Indonesian roads in the month of May 2013. The Pulsar 200 NS is expected to be sold through Kawasaki dealerships in Indonesia even as Bajaj and Kawasaki collaborate in motorcycle markets such as India and Colombia. The Pulsar 200 NS that’ll be launched in Indonesia will be built at Bajaj Auto’s Chakan factory. The motorcycle exported to Indonesia is expected to be in a similar state of spec as the Pulsar 200 NS sold in India. Bajaj Auto is expected to play its traditional value card in Indonesia as well.

Price wise, the Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS is expected to compete with the likes of the Yamaha Vixion(The streetfighter version of the Yamaha R15) and the Honda CB150R StreetFire motorcycles in Indonesia. The Pulsar 200 NS is significantly more powerful than the Vixion and the CB150R and if Bajaj manages to price the Pulsar 200 NS close to these motorcycles, the Indian motorcycle major might just shake up the Indonesian motorcycle market. The Pulsar 200 NS is powered by a 200cc liquid cooled engine that shares many parts with the KTM Duke 200.

The 200cc motor of the Pulsar 200 NS is liquid cooled and features a four valve-SOHC head. A unique feature of the Pulsar 200 NS’ engine is that the motor features a triple spark plug layout, a facet that is said to aid both power as well as fuel economy. The Pulsar 200 NS’ engine uses a carburetor for fueling duties. The motor pumps our 23.65 Bhp of peak power and 18.3 Nm of peak torque. A six speed manual gearbox transmits power and torque to the rear wheel of the motorcycle through a chain drive. The Pulsar 200 NS comes with conventional front forks up front and a monoshock layout at the rear.

Coming to the Indian motorcycle market, Bajaj Auto is said to be working on a fuel injected version of the Pulsar 200 NS. Also, a bigger engined Pulsar is in the works. By the end of the year, Bajaj Auto is expected to launch the 375cc engined version of the Pulsar. While the Pulsar 375 will borrow engine parts from the 2013 KTM Duke 390, the Pulsar is expected to undercut the Duke in terms of pricing. Expect the Pulsar 375 to be priced well under 2 lakh rupees, delivering stonking value in true blue Bajaj style.

  2. Kmi punya standard, pasti berkualitas lah kalo kaoskaki yg jual, nunggu perkembanganya, ceyar membayana nggak, kalo oke ane lego dah nvl buat nebus ning mongtor..

Dari XBHP forum rata rata masalah P200ns adalah karburator..banyak service centernya kedododran setting karburator 3 busi ini…terus masalah getaran motor di kecepatan 110kmph terus ilang di 120kmph (rpmnya berapa yaa ama Gigi berapa tuh)keatas…batok yang geter…dikecepatan tinggi masih nyaman PZZO…akselerasi sih gak segalak pistonnya deh kalo liat video di you tube…
